12 Questions Owan Enohs's aide Wants Cross Riverians to Ask Ayade
Twelve Questions Cross Riverians Must Ask Ayade as he comes to seek thier vote.
Politics has no relations to morals they say, but does that imply that we do away with accountability too?
Indeed in 2003, Donald Duke came with the message of "one good turn deserves another."
In 2011, liyel Imoke had "Consolidating the gains, guaranteeing the future" respectively as campaign theme for their relection bids.
You will agree with me that thier tourism drive and rural developmental strides had already given us a clear picture of what to expect within the next term.
But today, we are presented with a government that came to us in 2015 with loud and clear infrastructural promises that set our hearts jumping without attendant fulfilment eventually.
Good enough, elections presents an opportunity for a period such as now to ask pertinent questions that will affect our outlook for the next four years.
Dear Cross Riverians, as Ayade comes to your LGA to campaign, please ask him the following questions which are begging for answers:
1) Where is the Super Highway?
2)What happened to the Deep Sea port?
3)What is the cost of erecting the Garment factory, Where is the cotton farm, or textile manufacturing plant, or is the garment factory only a tailoring shop? Who actually owns the factory?
How much does it take to maintain and how much IGR does it bring?
4) what is the Role of Frank Ayade in our Cross River State government?
5) Where is the bailout fund, and the paris club refund? What projects where executed?
6) The proposed cocoa plant, where is Cross River state cocoa plantation located?
What shares does Chris Agara his friend have? Who was the contract Awarded to?
7) What is the performance rate of Budget of Kinetic Crystallization? What is Cross River state IGR, where did he get the funds from?
8)Ask him to name one Project he has started and completed in your LGA, one class room block renovated? Or a Km of road constructed? Ask him to show you just one.
9) Ask him what happened to the Local Government Elections, why were they not conducted again? What happened to the aspirants money with which they purchased nomination forms and the other attendant expenses?
10) Ask him to name the portfolios of 20 of his appointees? How many times he had met with them outside to go and vote for him to keep food on thier table? Ask him the work they do? Ask him the offices they stay in? Ask him what will happen to them when he leaves office? Ask him what one person he has employed and paid? Ask him why they sign a higher figure and collect lesser in cash?
11) Ask Ayade about the Over 100 Mous he signed in the last four years? Ask of those calipharm, Kalachika, Kalvegas, Calabar smart city, etc.
12) After asking the aforementioned questions, even rethorically, one would conclude the sorry state of affairs we've found ourselves in as a people.
13) Finally, it becomes incumbent upon us for our good and for generations yet unborn to ask Ayade to leave government house. This, all well-meaning Cross Riverians should do through the instrumentality of the ballot come March 2.
A better Cross River is possible.
