Fuel explosion! I am deeply pained, under Ayade our roads have become death traps: Owan Condoles families and Cross Riverians

The APC guber hopeful,  Sen. John Owan Enoh has described the yesterday's fuel explosion as a very unfortunate occurence. Adding that despite the incunmbents Goverment lying about completing the Suoer highway, they have done nothing to avert the continuous falling of heavy weight vehicles due to the very terrible state of the roads.

"I am deeply pained that yet again we have lost our people to such a preventable tragedy.
Fuel tankers pose a serious danger to lives, and we still have a government that allows them to lie lethally on our roads, even in our metropolis city of Calabar,  because they collect illegal money and do not care about our peoples safety.

I learnt the fuel tanker fell at Odukpani, if only we had good roads, and had a rapt emergency response system this unfortunate loss of lives will have been averted or mitigated.

"This is a big loss for us all, my heart goes out to the family of those who have lost thier lives, may God strengthen you, and console you at this moment of grieve.

It is a cardinal aim of my government to reduce to minimum these ungodly occurences, which can be prevented.
Our people themselves must do well to take safety precautions and engage the authorities as soon as possible.
My heart goes out with all Cross Riverians, accept our deepest condolence".

Sen. John Owan added, while speaking to TalkCrossRiver via the phone this morning.

Sen. John has in his Rescue Agenda proposed to abandone the fancy Idea of the Super highway and Dualize the Ikom Calabar Highway.

I Will Create Development centres to spread development to our people.-OWAN ENOH

John Owan Enoh has hinted on his plans to create 'Develeopment Centres' to fascilitate grassroot development, as part of his strategies to make Cross River a state worthy of the special status. Sen. John made this known while speaking at the palace of the paramount Ruler of Calabar South. Adding that the many local Government areas where too large, and since it will require long bureaucratic processes to create more, he will adopt the development centres method to take the loci of developing the state closer to areas of attention. Eld. Bolaji Anani, Ex PDP national Financial Sect. Joins APC in CRS

Elder Bolaji Anani, former national financial secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, alongside over 1000 supporters yesterday,  Jan. 30th 2019 dumped the PDP for the APC,  at the presidential Rally held at the U. j. Esuene stadium,  Calabar. Bolaji was recieved by the National Chairman of the party,  Comr. Adams Oshiomole,  who assured them that they have made timely decisions as the unbrella was already torn. Bolaji while speaking at his defection noted that the APC has presented a fine candidate in the person of Sen. John Owan Enoh and he was driven by necessity to join hands as a statesman in the birth of a new Cross River and to support the goodworks of President M. Buhari in Cross River.
