We did not Endorse Ayade, it was just a meeting: Anthony Owan, Etung Monarchs

The Vice chancellor of the Cross River state Uinveristy,  and elder brother to APC guber candidate John Owan Enoh,  has denied claims that he endorsed Ayade for a second term. This follows the outburst after pictures of his meeting with the Governor along side monarchs from Etung emerged.

Contrary to the insinuations by PDP,  Anthony Owan said he was invited to a meeting of Etung stakeholders and more so the Governor was the visitor of the university, he added that the meeting though involved politics, he was not a politician, and will never endorse Ayade over Owan.

" I think I was quoted out of context, our people say you cannot refuse an invitation, but you can refuse why you were invited."

Meanwhile reactions have continued to trail the claim to endorsement,  with some Cross Riverians calling it a staged managed media show, to salvage the recent adoption of Owan Enoh as consensus candidate of 15 political parties, and a reaction of the Governor to the Victory of Owan Enoh at the court,  as substantive Candidate, contrary to the governors expectation.

Etung monarch have also denied the claims, adding they were not told to come for an endorsement but a meeting with the governor. Speaking on the condition of anonymity a chief added " it was more
like an ambush, we came innocently, and they claimed it was endorsement, i think its just politicians doing their gimmicks,"

I Will Create Development centres to spread development to our people.-OWAN ENOH

John Owan Enoh has hinted on his plans to create 'Develeopment Centres' to fascilitate grassroot development, as part of his strategies to make Cross River a state worthy of the special status. Sen. John made this known while speaking at the palace of the paramount Ruler of Calabar South. Eld. Bolaji Anani, Ex PDP national Financial Sect. Joins APC in CRS

Elder Bolaji Anani, former national financial secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, alongside over 1000 supporters yesterday,  Jan. 30th 2019 dumped the PDP for the APC,  at the presidential Rally held at the U. j. Esuene stadium,  Calabar. Bolaji was recieved by the National Chairman of the party,  Comr. Adams Oshiomole,  who assured them that they have made timely decisions as the unbrella was already torn. Bolaji while speaking at his defection noted that the APC has presented a fine candidate in the person of Sen. John Owan Enoh and he was driven by necessity to join hands as a statesman in the birth of a new Cross River and to support the goodworks of President M. Buhari in Cross River.
