1. There's a near lack of governance in the state, Cross River state has descended from being the people's paradise to imperial state.
2. Cross River is no longer that once acclaimed cleanest state in Nigeria, as our city have degenerated into a slump
3. Investors have been chased out of the state has a result of irrational and multi-tax regime of the government.
4. Pensioners are hungry and some are dying from minor aliment due to nonpayment of their pension areas and gratuity
5. The bailout fund given to states by the Buhari's led APC administration have been bailed out to unknown quarter
6. The Local Government system has completely collapsed as state government have refused to conduct local Government elections
7. None payment of primary school teachers and Local Government employees
8. The failure of this PDP government is monumental, states like Lagos, Kebi, and Ebonyi who like cross river state benefited from the Federal Government's special grants for the rice revolution programme have flooded their local market with home grown rice, ours is virtually being abandoned there's no trace of home grown rice anywhere in our local market
Sir John Ochala also informed the president that these are some of the reason, there's a general sense of disenchantment with this state government, and Cross Riverians are indeed clamoring for a change. Speasking directly to the president, the state acting chairman of the party said,

"You will recall your Excellency that one of your earliest state visits at the inception of your administration in 2015 was to cross river state; the ground breaking of a super highway project conceived by the PDP led administration in the state, government, we regret to inform you that the said superhighway has turned out to be one of the phantom projects of this administration. it is still at the ground breaking level almost three years after".
10. "There are other phony projects which the state government has used as excused travelling all over the world in the name of signing Memorandum of Understandings with nothing to show for the huge expenditures".
