The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State has reassured the Cross River Electorate that the incoming APC government at the State and Federal levels will improve on their fortunes in all ramifications.

The party said the APC government waiting in the wings will restore confidence in the governance process and rekindle their hope in a better economy.

In a statement signed by the state Publicity Secretary, Mr. Bassey Ita, the party said the “Rescue Agenda” of the Sen. John Owan Enoh led government in waiting in concert with the “Next Level” projection of President Muhamadu Buhari will yield tangible development options that will satisfy the yearnings and expectations of the masses.

He said under the ‘Rescue Agenda’, Sen. Enoh has outlined some people-oriented programmes and projects that will ensure economic fortunes of the masses, infrastructural development and the fulfilment of destinies through security and social investment options among others.

Furthermore, he stated the ‘Next Level’ agenda of President Buhari will provide the necessary atmosphere for growth and progress of the economy, reduce poverty and make infrastructure accessible to the masses at the cheapest cost possible.

The statement maintained that the masses will never regret voting for the APC in the forthcoming polls as the party manifestos and those of their candidates are tailored towards battering the lots of the masses.

He urged the electorate to build more confidence and vote in the APC in the forth coming polls in order to meet their expectations.

On the crises that engulfed the leadership at the state level, Mr. Ita said “Expectedly, every human society is not without friction, but as a matter of fact, our victory is hidden in our crises “adding that” now that the issues have been resolved, our victory is budding”.

According to him, “Nobody can predict God’s move and that’s the reason His ways are quite different from those of men:  while some were looking at the crises as capable of wrecking us as a party, incidentally our victory buds to the consternation of those who had seen our collapse as against the expected victory”.

The statement said “The issue of who becomes the authentic candidate(s) and the State Executive Committee of the party have been resolved following a recent Federal High Court judgment in Apo, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, which nullifies the position of the other faction.

He urged the electorate to regard the APC as capable of providing leadership and also stemming the tide of under-development and poverty orchestrated by the present leadership of the state.

John Owan Enoh has hinted on his plans to create 'Develeopment Centres' to fascilitate grassroot development, as part of his strategies to make Cross River a state worthy of the special status. Sen. John made this known while speaking at the palace of the paramount Ruler of Calabar South. Eld. Bolaji Anani, Ex PDP national Financial Sect. Joins APC in CRS

Elder Bolaji Anani, former national financial secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, alongside over 1000 supporters yesterday,  Jan. 30th 2019 dumped the PDP for the APC,  at the presidential Rally held at the U. j. Esuene stadium,  Calabar. Bolaji was recieved by the National Chairman of the party,  Comr. Adams Oshiomole,  who assured them that they have made timely decisions as the unbrella was already torn. Bolaji while speaking at his defection noted that the APC has presented a fine candidate in the person of Sen. John Owan Enoh and he was driven by necessity to join hands as a statesman in the birth of a new Cross River and to support the goodworks of President M. Buhari in Cross River.
