Even God Judges leaders by performance not zonning- Ekpo Okon*

The Deputy Governorship Candidate of the APC in Cross River State,  and running mate of Sen. John Owan Enoh has taken a swipe at the proponents of zonning,  adding that it was not a law of nature to allow failure of leadership to continue merely because anyone believes they come from a favoured region.

Supporting his assertion, Hon Ekpo told the enthusiastic crowd that  When God noticed that Saul had failed to live up to his responsibilities as King of Isreal, he did not allow him to continue because he was just annointed,  or because the throne was assigned to his family,  but Saul was immediately replaced by David, whom God asked prophet Samuel to annoint. Owan Enoh is the David, that God wants to salvage our state, and we have to give ourselves a new future.

Ntufam Ekpo Okon,  expressed disappointment that some elites who were either direct beneficiaries of the misgovernace of the present administration or who were eyeing the Governorship in 2023 were willing to sacrifice the collective wellbeing of the state, for selfish ambitions.

He called on Cross Riverians to judge Ayade by his poor performance,  and pass a verdict come march 2nd,  by Voting massively for Sen. John Owan Enoh and himself as Governor and Deputy of Cross River State.

"This Government is a mistake we made on 2015,  and when you make mistakes you have a chance to change that narrative, that is why pencils come with erasers, but if we make this mistake twice,  it becomes a Crime"

Ekpo Okon,  addressed Cross Riverians at the APC's   Calabar Municipality Rally.

John Owan Enoh has hinted on his plans to create 'Develeopment Centres' to fascilitate grassroot development, as part of his strategies to make Cross River a state worthy of the special status. Sen. John made this known while speaking at the palace of the paramount Ruler of Calabar South. Eld. Bolaji Anani, Ex PDP national Financial Sect. Joins APC in CRS

Elder Bolaji Anani, former national financial secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, alongside over 1000 supporters yesterday,  Jan. 30th 2019 dumped the PDP for the APC,  at the presidential Rally held at the U. j. Esuene stadium,  Calabar. Bolaji was recieved by the National Chairman of the party,  Comr. Adams Oshiomole,  who assured them that they have made timely decisions as the unbrella was already torn. Bolaji while speaking at his defection noted that the APC has presented a fine candidate in the person of Sen. John Owan Enoh and he was driven by necessity to join hands as a statesman in the birth of a new Cross River and to support the goodworks of President M. Buhari in Cross River.
